Description

June 16th was a great night for planetary observation and imaging in the DC area. I imaged Jupiter, Saturn, then Mars over the course six+ hours. This is my first decent Saturn image of the year.

Imaged with a C8 Evo, custom Siebert 2x barlow, ZWO ADC, Baader Moon&Skyglow filter, and ZWO ASI224MC. Image capture using Firecapture. Stacking in AutoStakkert3. Deconvolved in Fitswork4. Color balancing and Wavelet sharpening in Registax6. Lastly, deroted a series of six images in WinJupos10.9 to generate the final image. Each of the individual images is a stack of the best 50% of typically 8000 frames captured over 180 seconds.
